The Creative Process

Great design is about more than choosing pretty colors and unique fonts. Great design is a process that blends aesthetics with analysis and balances consumer needs with your business goals. Woodburn Designs employs a business- savvy, four-step process to make sure that your project perfectly matches both your market and your message.

Step 1: Analysis

The Analysis Phase of the process includes in-depth consultation between you and your designer to determine the project’s marketing objectives, audience, and message, as well as your company’s competitive landscape and industry best practices. With this knowledge in hand, we can make strategic recommendations for how best to achieve your goals.

Step 2: Design

The information that we learn about your business in the Analysis Phase provides us with the roadmap for the Design Phase. This is where the creative juices really flow. We take our inspiration for design directly from your business' unique needs and create a series of design concepts for your review, always keeping usability, best design practices, and ease-of-use in mind. This phase is also where we make determinations about details such as site architecture, technical requirements, timelines for development of larger projects and multi-stage mailing campaigns, and so on.

Step 3: Implementation

With all the critical design decisions made, it's time to roll up our sleeves and enter the Implementation Phase. It's during this phase that your web site pages are built, your postcards are developed, your final logo is polished, and so on.

Step 4: Delivery

The time has come. All the "i"s are dotted and the "t"s are crossed. Colors, content, and functionality have been checked, rechecked, and checked again. The final phase, Delivery, is when the project is complete and ready to be turned over to you and shown off to the world.
